What Are You Seeing Through?
Clearing the Body, Restoring Perspective, and the Creative Process
Last week, we began with the idea that life is an adventure. Life is for the living. We are here to live fully, doing what we love, our way. It is an adventure. It is a process. It is both.
We also began looking at the body as part of the map. The body is not separate from the journey. It helps us read the symbols, sense intuition, and navigate life. It helps us recognize and acknowledge intuition — our GPS for life.
Now we come to the next awareness. If the body is part of the map, and if the body is a fine-tuned instrument, then we also have to ask what may be affecting the clarity of that instrument. Because if the instrument is carrying old energy, static, tension, fear, grief, stress, or unprocessed emotion, then the signal may become harder to read.
That is very important. Because this connects directly to the Creative Process. If the body is not clear, we may not be seeing what is actually there. We may be seeing through the lens of what is still stored, activated, defended, or unresolved.
What we carry affects what we see. That is the heart of this reflection.
If old energy is active in the body, it can affect perspective. It can affect what we notice, what we miss, what we assume, what we fear, what we expect, and what we believe is possible. Then the Creative Process becomes distorted, not because Divine Mind is unclear, but because the instrument we are using to receive, interpret, and respond may be clouded. The guidance may be present. The opportunity may be present. The next step may be present. The opening may be present. But if we are seeing through fear, we may not recognize it. If we are seeing through old disappointment, we may expect disappointment again. If we are seeing through old survival energy, we may be braced for danger instead of available for possibility. If we are seeing through grief, stress, resentment, overwhelm, or an old family pattern, we may interpret the present moment through something that belongs to another time. This is why clearing the body matters.
The body is part of the map. We have been learning that the body is not separate from the journey. It helps us read the symbols, sense intuition, and navigate life. The body is also an instrument. Like any instrument, it needs to be tuned and cleared so it can receive and transmit clearly.
Stored energy can affect perception. Old fear, tension, grief, disappointment, family patterns, or stress can sit in the body and influence how we interpret what is happening now. Perception shapes the Creative Process.
If I am seeing through fear, I may choose from fear. If I am seeing through old disappointment, I may expect disappointment. If I am seeing through old survival energy, I may not recognize opportunity when it appears. And if I do not recognize opportunity, guidance, timing, support, or a new opening when it appears, I may think nothing is happening. But something may be happening. I may simply be looking through a lens that needs to be wiped clean.
The work is never to force the next answer. The work is to become clear enough to see what is actually here.
Sometimes we want Divine Mind to give us another sign, another answer, another confirmation, another direction. But perhaps the answer is already present. Perhaps the next step is already trying to reveal itself. Perhaps what is needed now is not more pressure. Perhaps what is needed is more clearing.
A breath. A pause. A release. A moment of stillness. A willingness to notice what is active in the body. A willingness to ask, “Am I seeing this moment clearly?” Clearing the body helps restore perspective. Not as a dramatic process, but as a gentle practice of noticing, breathing, releasing, forgiving, resting, moving, and listening.
We begin to notice where the body is holding tension. We begin to notice where old fear is tightening the view. We begin to notice where disappointment has shaped expectation. We begin to notice where stress has made the present moment feel smaller than it actually is. And as we notice, something can begin to soften. Something can begin to clear. The lens becomes cleaner. The signal becomes easier to read. The map becomes easier to follow.
And the Creative Process can begin to move with more clarity, because we are no longer trying to create through the fog of what has not yet been seen, acknowledged, or released. This does not mean we have to clear everything all at once. It means we begin. We listen. We pay attention. We notice what the body is carrying. We ask what is ours now and what may be ready to be released. We give ourselves permission to restore the instrument, clear the lens, and see again. Because what we carry affects what we see. And what we see affects what we choose. And what we choose shapes what we create.
Here is to clear vision!
A Gentle Invitation
This week, give yourself permission to notice what may be shaping your perspective.
Not with judgment. Not with fear. Not with the need to fix everything immediately.
Simply notice.
If something feels heavier than it needs to feel, pause. If something feels confusing, pause. If an old fear, expectation, or disappointment begins to color the moment, pause.
There may be more information there than you first realized.
Sometimes the pause is where the lens begins to clear.
A Quiet Question for the Week
What might I be seeing through right now — fear, stress, old disappointment, grief, pressure, or truth?
A Small Invitation
This week, choose one moment to practice clearing the lens.
Sit quietly for a few minutes. Take a slow breath. Let your attention move gently into the body. Notice where you feel tension, heaviness, resistance, or old energy.
Do not force it to leave.
Just notice it.
Then breathe gently and ask yourself:
Is this helping me see clearly?
Let that question open a little space.
Sometimes one honest breath, one moment of awareness, and one willingness to see differently can begin to shift the whole experience.
Meditation Night at The Center
As we continue exploring the body, awareness, and the Creative Process, Meditation Night becomes a beautiful place to begin practicing what we are learning.
Many people want to meditate, listen more deeply, and become more connected to themselves, but they do not always know how to begin. Sometimes we need a peaceful space, a little guidance, and the support of being with others who are also learning how to slow down and listen.
Meditation Night at The Center is a gentle evening of stillness, body awareness, breath, reflection, and shared experience. We will talk about the process, meditate together live in a peaceful space, and then share what we noticed.
You do not have to know how to meditate before you come.
You only need to be willing to slow down, listen within, and begin.
This could be the beginning of a whole new world of connection and self-awareness.

Zoom Event
Real Talk Live with Deb Foggio returns in August.
This is a space for honest conversation, thoughtful reflection, and meaningful connection. We gather to talk about what is real, what is emerging, and what may be asking for our attention in life, healing, growth, awareness, and the Creative Process.
This month’s Real Talk feels especially connected to our current reflections around awareness, perspective, and how we learn to see more clearly.
Each conversation has its own life. There may be a theme, but the room also helps shape what needs to be explored.
Come as you are, bring what is on your heart, and be part of a conversation that is open, grounded, and alive.

The Center for Integrative Well Being
Soul Essence Evolving returns on Friday, August 28.
This is an opportunity to look beneath the surface and observe what may be moving in the larger field. Through Systemic Constellations, we are invited to see patterns, burdens, loyalties, connections, and possibilities that may not be obvious from the surface view.
As we continue learning how what we carry affects what we see, Soul Essence offers a powerful way to explore what may be asking for recognition, release, restoration, or a new place.
Mark your calendar now for both August gatherings.
LifePath Readings
A LifePath Reading can be a meaningful support when you are trying to understand what you are seeing, sensing, or experiencing in your life.
Sometimes the next step is present, but our perspective is clouded. Sometimes we feel a nudge, a question, a resistance, or a repeated pattern, but we need help understanding what it may be pointing toward.
A LifePath Reading offers intuitive insight, reflection, and guidance for where you are now and what may be unfolding next.
It can help you listen more deeply to your path, recognize what may be asking for your attention, and receive guidance for the next step in your Creative Process.
If you feel called to understand what is presenting itself in your life right now, this may be a meaningful time to schedule a LifePath Reading.
Closing Reflection
The Creative Process asks us to see clearly.
But sometimes before we can see clearly, we have to notice what we have been seeing through.
Old energy can color the moment. Fear can narrow the view. Disappointment can shape expectation. Stress can make possibility feel far away. And what has been stored in the body can quietly influence what we believe is happening now.
This is not a reason to judge ourselves.
It is an invitation to become aware.
When we pause, listen, and begin clearing the body, we give ourselves the opportunity to see the present moment with more truth. The next step may already be there. The guidance may already be present. The opening may already be forming.
The work is not to force the next answer.
The work is to become clear enough to see what is actually here.
Closing Mantra for the Week
I pause and listen.
I notice what I am carrying.
I release what clouds my sight.
I allow my body to become clear, steady, and receptive.
I see with greater truth.
I choose with greater wisdom.
I create from clarity, alignment, and Divine Mind.
Many Blessings,
